IS MIGRATION A CRISIS?
Isn't it still the wonder of Asia? Some may say no, some may say yes, but there are some few in between who struggle to figure it out. The paradise island Sri Lanka, is no more a paradise? This question varies in almost every citizen in Sri Lanka. But the problem to be figured out is still visible, but not.
You may think I'm confusing you. But the bitter truth is that. All the literate people in Sri Lanka are migrating to the so called "beautiful country" and they forget the pearl which held them when they had their first breath. And the few remaining also think that the probability of stopping this is a miracle.
Sri Lanka is the only country in the world, which provides so many free services to its citizens. Education, Health care can be shown as main paradigms. After enjoying all these facilities here, they escape to another country in search of more happiness.
Because of the past war, political reasons, financial difficulties, etc., people migrate to different countries and try to live a happy life. But they totally forget to repay their service to the motherland, which is a sad news to hear.
You can be influenced by your friends, relatives, neighbors, etc. but you should be smart and strong enough to have your own choice. Leave it, or face it. If everybody leaves, this will indeed be a crisis. So lets step forward to stop this. Your ideas and opinions are always appreciated.
